Abstract
In this work, CuO–SnO2 (CS) nanocomposites with different amounts of urea (CS-1:0.9 g, CS-2:0.18 g, and CS-3:0.36 g) were synthesized using a facile hydrothermal method. CS-1 exhibited the best OER and UOR activity among the prepared electrocatalysts, with lower ovepotential 280mV and Tafel slope of 229 mV dec−1 (OER@10 mA cm−2), and high electrochemically active surface area (39.4 mF cm−2) and lower charge transfer resistance. Furthermore, all the electrocatalysts demonstrated excellent stability (up to 10 h).
